よう！八！……八っつったらおめぇのことだろ？なにキョロキョロしてやがんだ。
そんなにめかしこんで珍しいじゃねぇか？どこ行くんだ？
なに、幸一光って人形屋が新しく「落語の人形」を作るから、それを見に行く？
ほぉ、面白れぇ、俺も一緒に見に行こうじゃねえか。

江戸らくご人形は、数ある古典落語の演目からなじみ深いものを選び、その話を象徴するシーンを切り取ったお人形です。
落語の世界から飛び出してきた表情豊かなお人形につられて、見ている方も笑ってしまったり、泣けてきたり、日々の生活にちょっとした潤いを与えてくれます。

Yo! Hachi! ...... you’re Hachi, innit? What are you looking around like that for?

Edo Rakugo Doll cut out a symbolic scene from classic Rakugo.
A familiar story choosed from a wide variety of classic Rakugo.
The doll’s expression is so unique that they came out the world of Rakugo literally.
They add a little enrichment to daily life and may make you laugh or cry.

あくび指南は古典落語の一つで、「あくび」の稽古に行く熊五郎と、友人の八五郎が道端で出会うところから始まります。
お人形では稽古についていった八五郎が退屈であくびをしてしまうシーンを再現しました。大きな口と締まりのない顔が眠気を誘いますね。

Yawning lessons (Akubi-Shinan) is one of the classical Rakugo stories. It begins with Kumagoro going to practice “akubi” and his friend Hachigoro meeting on the roadside.
We recreated in the doll the scene where Hachigoro yawns out of bored watching Kumagoro’s practice. His big mouth and tight face make you feel sleepy.
